KKK Is Dulquers 25th movie. It is  a movie in Heist Genre. Another recent notable one is ' Thana SerntheKootam' a remake of Special 26.

Story is about 2 Con-men who enjoy carefree life playe Dulquer and debut by TV Vj Darshan who is amazing in his role playing the funny side kick.He is apt for the role and will be loved by the youngsters.Especially the scenes where he sets a a particular song as ringtone and makes Dulquer Salman Play.Both just end spending and living a luxurious life with money they have cheated.Dulquer has an eye on a nice girl living in their community.Finally gathers courage to propose her and she says ok. They finally decide to settle down.Like any other Heist Job they decide to do one last job and settled down.Meanwhile Gautham V Menon playsa cop who starts invetsigation to catch them. When every thing looks ok after they take all the money to settle down in Goa- They get a shock and leads them to do a an even more dangerous and big con job.Did they do?

positives - Very good screenplay.Initially 30 minutes looks very boring because certain scenes looks very typical and dramish.But you will later realise it was done for a reason.Screen play is kept engaging till the end laced with humor.
- Darshans comic timing and facial reactions are very good.That was a pleasant surprise. He gives the much needed fun relief as others are all playing serious characters which would have made the movie boring
- Gautham Menon is again a pleasant surprise and especially watch out for the twist in the end.

- Probably this is the only Heist Genre film i have seen which does not have even a single fight. And does not have any vehicle chase. The one chase which comes cannot be considered a real chase and more of a fun element.Thats a brave attempt and refereshing change.

Area of improvement
- For this kind of movie it is important to have a good Background score. Though we dont feel let down by the BGM it would have been very good  with a good BGM.
- Songs again probably could have been better.

I feel goosebumps while writing a review about this movie.Such has been the impact of this magnum opus in Tamil Cinema Standards directed by one of my favourite directors Selvaraghavan. I believe for first time in the history of Tamil Cinema a movie has touched upon a theme which has left so many historians and people who have read about history flabbergasted.I personally have read history much earlier and still had the same puzzle for this question.Many learned scholars of history are still to come up witha theory about "How the great Chola Dynasty which at its peak had territories that included 70 % of India,Ceylon,Far East suddenly vanished into thin air?".There seems to be no descendent of the dynasty.It is this question Mr.Selvaraghavan attempts to answer.I may not be a learned film critic,but in my view he has done great justice to his attempt back

Meyyazhagan a beautiful movie(Glorius Past)

Meyyazhagan. I did not notice about this movie untill my mother bombarded our family whatsapp group with youtube videos on this movie related interviews. She mentioned in our group in chat "Vijay!we have to definitely watch this movie.This is set in Thanjavur.They are showing Needamangalam." My mother rarely feels excited about movies.This time she felt because it was about Tanjavur. So immediatley I booked tickets for 2nd day itself as my brother was also in India for a meeting. I watched the 3 hour movie and felt very  moved.It was very very relatable to me.My mother side is from a village near Kovilvenni.This place is prominently mentioned and becomes a key part of the movie.Its where the fiercesome war between Cholas and Cheras were fought and referred to as Venniparanthalai.I was born in a town Ammapet one stop before Kovilvenni and spent many of my summer holidays in my mothers village.  While watching the movie we were pleasantly surprised not just Needaman

The Village

well you guys must have seen the movie called "The Vilage" directed by Manoj K Shyamalan.I am a great fan of Shyamalan's work.I have seen all his feature films save "Lady in the water".Of all the films he has done i like "The Village" the most.Ya i know that u wud be shocked coz its one of the most underrated works. I guess its mainly because most of them were not able to understand the "The Village"story.Its a story which has been daringly concieved.Its close to my heart because I have always felt myself if something like this can happen. It looks like a period story which it is not.Thats the beauty of the story.The village is a place which consists of a few number of families.They don go beyond their village coz they are of afraid "Those they dont speak off".Its a superb setting for a mystery movie.And everybody lives happily untill the Hero is stabbed and the medicine has to come from outside the village.The blind heroine takes
